3. Site update – We are aggressively pursuing the additional 10 acres. We are waiting on Archdiocesan approval to proceed with the Church of Christ.
4. Capital Campaign – Current money and pledges $2.87 million. Discussed at length contributions from the 7:30 mass and debated the need to have capital campaign collections each week versus bi-monthly or another interval.
5. Communications – We are continuing to work on updating website and bulletin, as well as signage for property. An annual report will be available in the near future.
6. Maintenance – Hank volunteered Mon Don students to help keep trash off the street at the Epps Bridge Parkway Property. Rosemary suggested we install an additional handrail going to the basement. Pete suggested John Benca could address this.
7. Liturgy – Rosemary reported we need people to sign up for the Elijah Cup and that we will have a bus to the Eucharistic Congress in June.
8. Hispanic Ministries – Evelyn reported there is a planning meeting to establish common goals for Hispanic ministries.
9. School - Father McGuiness reported we are in progress with trying to hire a new principal.
10. Pete asked John Timmons to meet with a representative from Holly Hills, in order to finalize a Memo of Understanding with the neighborhood. Pete thanked the outgoing Council members and Pete was commended by everyone for the work he has done over the last three years.
Next meeting will be June 10, 2007:
