Minutes

May 17, 2009

Present at the meeting:  Ed Fechtel, Mary Mellein, Ellen Jackson, Hank Wright, Mark Valentine, Fr. David McGuinness, and Tim Janke

Members absent:  Donavan Yarnall, George Gazda, Charles Dolan, Berti Lopez, David Gomez, Terry Trotachaud

1) Call to order with a prayer.

2) Approval of Minutes of the previous meeting.

3) Elections:

               a. The membership of the Council will consist of 8 people until elections are held for 4 new members.

               b. Discussion of how the election process and bylaws should be amended in anticipation of the role of the Parish Council in decision making in the future of the Parish.

               c. Committee formed to create a proposal – Meet 5:00 June 1^st – Mary Mellein, Ellen Jackson, Mark Valentine, Ed Fechtel (other meetings to be announced)

4)  Fr. David gave a status of negotiations with the Archdiocese

5)  Tim Janke gave a financial report

6) Adjourn with a prayer
